If you were that kid who loved English class, you like to write, and you think the idea of earning money from nonfiction writing sounds fabulous, consider ghostwriting. But I'm not talking about a service based business. I'm talking about starting a PLR business.

People generally think of a ghostwriter as someone who has a limited number of clients for whom they write articles or books. This is fine if it's what you want to do and you're established enough to command premium prices that enable you to pay your bills and live comfortably.

But what if you want more freedom than that?

I recommend starting a Private Label Rights business. If you're interested in learning more, I highly recommend you watch this video by my friend Alice, who is owner of Publish for Prosperity. I first met her back in 2002 when she was hosting an online community for work at home moms. She has been a high quality, savvy business writer who has grown and maintained a successful team of writers for decades now.

I strive to be like her when I grow up.

Check out the video here:

Alice explains the concept behind Private Label Rights and also discusses:

  • WHY PLR such a great business to be in
  • Who can run a PLR business?
  • Do you see the concept of PLR becoming worn out?
  • What you should know before starting a PLR business

You can read a transcript of the video from Alice's Elite Writer's Lab site, also.

About the Author

I chose to proactively retire from the classroom teaching and share my gifts in a different context. I'm a damn good teacher and I'm tired of working within a frustrating system that won't let me do what I know is right. So I'm taking my business full time -- and I'm still educating, still making a difference in the world. And I want to help you do the same.
